ONE RIOT IS A BOUTIQUE MUSIC PUBLISHING COMPANY WITH OFFICES IN LOS ANGELES, NASHVILLE AND NEW YORK. FOUNDED IN 2019, WE OFFER HIGH-TOUCH CREATIVE SERVICES TO A SMALL BUT MIGHTY STABLE OF SONGWRITERS AND RECORDING ARTISTS.

Our clients are professional badasses, every one of them. They’re Grammy nominees and Americana UK Awards winners, Billboard chart-toppers and critical darlings. They specialize in that unnamed crossroads of roots music, country, pop, soul and indie rock – music with dirt on its boots and a story to tell; music that’s grounded in tradition but still focused on the road ahead. 

At the heart of everything One Riot does is a profound respect for songs, and the people that create them. We keep our roster small so we can stay hands-on and build our writers’ careers in tandem with them. Every songwriter has a different goal and creative process, and we honor that with a flexible approach to career development, tailored to our clients’ strengths.

  • FOUNDER | HEAD OF CREATIVE
    Los Angeles

    Amy has spent over a decade in the music industry trenches as a publisher, manager and entrepreneur. After leaving her west Texas homeland to pursue her songwriting dreams in L.A., Amy did a complete 180 and became Head of U.S. Operations and Business Development at a major direct-to-fan music platform. Soon after, she started her own management company, Transponster Co., where she has guided the careers of acclaimed artists Low Roar and Mia Dyson, writer/producer AG (Christina Perri, Aloe Blacc, MILCK), mixer Matty Green (Dua Lipa, TV on the Radio) and more. She currently manages producers Ben Tanner (St. Paul & The Broken Bones, John Paul White, Nicole Atkins) and Davis Naish (Eric Church, Lee Brice, Katelyn Tarver).

    In 2019 Amy joined forces with Reservoir Media Management to launch One Riot Music Publishing, whose website you are looking at right now.

    New York

    Dan Rowe is a music industry entrepreneur, advisor, and musician. He is a founder and has been a strategic advisor to a number of creative-focused businesses in the music industry including SOCAN, Audible Magic, Songspace, and Mixcloud. In addition to his role with One Riot, he is also a Founding Partner and currently the COO of Firebird Music.

    Previously, Dan was the Founder of Sword Rowe, a boutique advisory firm, where he focused exclusively on advising companies in the music industry. In 2019 Dan joined forces with Amy Patton and Reservoir Media Management to launch One Riot Music Publishing.

    Earlier Dan worked at TVT Records and Publishing, and tried his hand at music management, too, working with artists such as George Clinton and Kool & the Gang. Dan has kept up a parallel second career as a musician, audio engineer and producer, including collaborating for the last 19 years with his wife, singer/songwriter Charlotte Kendrick.

    The proud owner of an MBA and dual bachelor’s degrees in music composition and economics, Dan’s got money on his mind and a song in his heart.

    Ash is One Riot’s pulse in Music City. Upon graduating from Eastern Connecticut State University, this Rhode Island native relocated to Nashville in 2017 to take a job in Music Touring with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Two years as at a big-time talent agency made her realize that her true calling was working with songwriters.

    Utilizing her impeccable taste and passion for developing Artists & Songwriters, you can find Ash both in writing rooms and at shows, face-to-face with the best talent in the music capital of the world.

    Nashville

    Lilly is the newest member of our Nashville office. A Nashville native herself, Lilly has a natural passion for music, particularly Americana. She started out as an intern for One Riot in college, and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business and a full-time job with us. Lilly assists with all of our creative and administrative endeavors, and has a great ear for new talent.
